Did you know many people buy their driver's meals or share meals with the driver?
What would you do if you saw your food delivery person eating from your order?
For most, it's an absolute no-go – unacceptable and downright inappropriate. But a recent TikTok video has sparked some surprising reactions.
In the clip, a food delivery driver is seen leaning on his bike, phone in one hand, while his other hand reaches into what appears to be a customer's food order. Without hesitation, he grabs a handful of chips and pops them into his mouth.
Surprisingly, many people in the comments sympathised with the driver’s alleged "food snatching" moment. Some shared that they often buy their delivery drivers a meal, while others admitted they feel bad for them.
However, food delivery platforms like Uber Eats take this seriously. If a driver is caught eating from a customer’s order, they could face severe penalties, including removal from the platform and even potential legal consequences for theft.
