The (non) perks of being born in Januworry
When you are born in January, you hope you have a family who is wise with their money. Otherwise, they will spend all their savings in December and be left with nothing to celebrate you.
Some might say it's tough being a January baby, mainly because January is synonymous with leaving people high and dry after the festive December holidays.
But that's if you are bad with budgeting and planning, and we hope that in this day and age, very few people leave things to chance.
A funny video shared on social media reminded us that sometimes it's inevitable for January babies to receive the 'leftovers', but hey, there's always a silver lining; you have to be willing to find it.
The video shows an older boy singing for a younger boy celebrating his birthday. Sadly, things look bleak as the birthday cake is a large cabbage adorned with a birthday candle on it.
While the average birthday party table is usually decorated with cold drinks, confetti balloons, cake, candy, and other sweet treats, this party table had household grocery items that didn't quite match the celebration.
