Nothing beats fathers showing up for their kids in public

This is surely one of the most endearing and entertaining things on the internet today.

As schools draw to a close in 2023, we find many schools hosting parents at their graduation ceremonies or end-of-year school concerts.
We find parents and family gather to celebrate their kids in the most merry and entertaining ways.
Not only is it a great opportunity for parents to get to know the teachers and other parents, it is a wonderful opportunity for kids to see their parents show up for them.
In a video shared to TikTok, we see a kids' graduation ceremony commencing with the hall filled with family and friends of the young children.
But this was no ordinary graduation, it was a truly South African one.
Fathers were invited to the stage to partake in a dance competition and even though one dad made a dismal exit, the remaining fathers really did do their best.

As a community, we need our fathers there to support us. In whichever way they do, it proves to the youth that they can achieve all that they desire because they have support.
Even though we think the kids at this graduation were a bit young to identify with being 'embarrassed', we think we would rather have a dad who has the courage to stand up for us even if that means some embarrassment is experienced, than him not showing up at all.
