Online teacher uses bathroom break to teach foreign student

One of the things we love most about children is their natural authenticity. They haven't been conditioned to feel ashamed or embarrassed by things society considers awkward.

A video shared by a teacher who teaches English as a foreign language reminded us that kids will be kids no matter where they're from.

Tash, a full-time teacher and single mother, often shares insights into her journey, along with her upbeat and engaging teaching methods, especially when working with young children.

This time, she shared a rather unexpected moment from a one-on-one Saturday lesson with a young boy.

Mid-lesson, the child needed a bathroom break but decided to take his device with him – continuing the lesson from the loo.

While this might seem inappropriate in many settings, when it comes to kids, the rules aren't always so clear-cut.

Tash handled the situation like a pro, making sure the young boy didn’t feel embarrassed. Instead, she turned it into a teachable moment, explaining in English what he was doing.

She also added a playful twist, pretending to smell his poop and turning the moment into a lighthearted exchange.

People found her video hilarious, and she shared that she loves this student because he’s a total wildcard.

Her video also encouraged other online teachers to share their experiences.

One teacher wrote, "You're reminding me when my student farted and she closed her nose."
