Being a teacher can be challenging to say the least.
But teaching high school students is way, way more challenging. Teenagers aren't an easy audience, and they are definitely known for their inability to be easy going.
So, if you are are high school teacher, you have to go in with a special kind of attitude. And, most of all, you have to really be willing to connect.
This teacher is the perfect example of what it means to be an invested teacher.

Sammy Kay White, a Life Sciences teacher, is very vocal about education.
