The perfect hack to keep your hands clean on the go
Updated | By The Workzone with Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp
Even sanitiser doesn't do justice when you are out and about and your hands need a wipe down.
Many parents might stray from going outdoors with their kids because of the dangers.
Besides the safety concern, there are so many germs and health hazards that a parent has to consider when enjoying playtime outdoors with their kids.
Some might say that letting kids play outside is a natural progression of growing up, and we agree with that sentiment. Being outdoors and letting your kids play in the sand and enjoy the sunlight contribute to their physical and mental well-being.
A mother has shared a 'handy' hack she uses when cleansing her kids' hands when they are out playing and do not have access to running water and soap.
This week saw Global Handwashing Day, a critical reminder that washing our hands is still vital to good hygiene and saving lives. Check out some videos here on teaching your kids how to wash their hands.
In this video, which surprisingly had a lot of sarcastic comments, we saw a mother use hand towels and soap to create an 'on-the-go' soapy hand wipe. Yes, you could just get wet wipes or use sanitiser, but there's nothing like the feeling you get when you wash your hands with soap and water.
