This is ideally what all teachers should be teaching kids.
At this point in our lives, as we peak as parents and come into owning our path in life, we can firmly say that we have clear opinions about things.
One of those things happens to be the way we were educated as children and consequently how our kids are being educated.
The main area of concern that unveils most of society is the way many of us manage our finances.
And so, over the past few years, it has become very apparent that learning how to manage our money is extremely important.
We saw this teacher teaching her students about 'financial literacy', which is what 'CBS Mornings' called it when they shared her insightful, forward-thinking lesson on TikTok.

@cbsmornings Kindergarten teacher Allera Padgett is teaching her young students an important lesson in financial literacy. She gives the kids “money” for doing their classroom jobs and performing well on tests — and they have to pay rent for the chairs they sit in. #kindergarten #teacher #work #money #finance #financetiktok ♬ original sound - CBS Mornings
She taught her students about money in the most insightful and realistic way.
In her lesson, she took out printed paper money that students would get paid with.
