Proud young lady says she's all about her business

Curly hair doesn't mean I don't care, it means I am confident with a snazzy attitude...
A woman's hair is her crown.
Especially when it comes to natural hair.
There are those who want to disassociate themselves with the curly black hair and there are those who want to celebrate their natural hair in its entirety.
We saw it perfectly in the Netflix movie, 'Nappily Ever After', starring Sanaa Lathan. The movie showed the evolution of celebrating your natural hair after generations of people tried to shame woman for their natural hair.
The concept was also seen in a scene of the series 'First Lady', where Viola Davis played Michelle Obama and was prompted to wear her hair naturally for a fundraising event but opted not to.
All because she didn't want to scare the 'white folks'. Safe to say that 'hair' is something of a conversation starter for people. The way we wear it, the way it makes others feel, and the products we use on it.
One young woman who has changed the way we look at our hair is Imari Kenya. A video shared on her mom's TikTok page shows her telling us the truth behind owning your confidence and your hair.
WATCH the video of her share how even though her hair is messy, she is handling her business.
