We don't have much experience with snow in our parts and therefore cannot firmly say that we would call it dangerous to consume.

But we think that if we were to experience snow often enough, we would want to try Reese Witherspoon's creation, Snow Salt Chocochino.

Due to the increased snowfall in her town recently, she decided to make a snowy drink. She filled two cups with snow, added salted caramel and chocolate syrup to the ice, and topped the cups up with cold brew coffee.

Her video garnered lots of attention from social media users who questioned the safety of consuming snow.

While many appreciated the fact that Reese was just trying to enjoy her winter with her family, Witherspoon responded in the most lighthearted way to the comments that came through on her Snow Salt Chocochino video.

Check out some of the comments.

  • "Can you put snow in a clear cup and let it melt I just want to see if it's safe to eat first"
  • "No no no.. snow is not made to eat.. u can get seriously sick"
  • "Fallen snow can be very dirty from the air and wind but who cares. You only live once. I remember eating snow as a kid."
  • "When I was a kid I used to eat snow...I am still alive soon turning 43..😊I also grabbed vegetables from the garden and I ate them straight without washing"
  • "Am I the only one concerned that she scooped it off of her car" - she responded to this comment saying: "It's was the grill 😂 but is that bad???"

Reese replied to all the naysayers who were warning her of the supposed dangers of eating snow. Check out the first video below, courtesy of TikTok
