Three acupuncture points that help with stubborn belly fat

It's okay if you still need to nail your summer body for the holidays. We understand that life can become tiring and taking care of your physical health can sometimes be an afterthought. 

Don't stress; we have a remedy for that. We found a Chinese acupuncturist and pregnancy and fertility specialist, Dr Nam Lee. She is enthusiastic about acupuncture and has over 22 years of experience and is also quite knowledgeable and active on social media. 

In a video where she touched on stubborn belly fat, she shared three acupuncture points on your body that can assist with belly fat and metabolism. 

First Dr Lee shared that these acupuncture points are excellent for liver function and help with metabolism. 

  • Liver 13 – Supports digestion and boosts metabolism, helping to reduce bloating.
  • Liver 14 – Promotes healthy liver function and detoxification for a flatter tummy.
  • Stomach 25 – Balances digestion and relieves abdominal discomfort, aiding in a slimmer waistline.

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that usually sees doctors inserting needles at specific points in a patient's body. This is said to relieve pain, help with stress reduction, arthritis, digestion and other health problems. 

But make sure you seek out advise from your health practitioner before embarking on any sort of alternative therapy.
