Three places to visit with the kids this school holiday
It's almost time for the school holidays (if they haven't already begun for you), and we have some fun places to visit in Gauteng.
School's almost out and finding things to do with the kids is always a struggle.
We have found three places to visit around Gauteng that are kid-friendly.
1. Hamley's Playland in Fourways Mall
Hamley's Playland is a fun spot located inside Hamley's Fourways. It spans 180sqm and hosts a giant jungle gym, a big ball pit, slides, a trampoline, and a mini carousel. There is also an interactive screen where kids can play while playing in the ball pit.

2. Nostimo by Mythos in Midrand
"Born of the well-known Mythos brand is Nostimo. This Greek family-friendly restaurant includes a pottery studio, arts and crafts centre and a wooden, nature-themed kid’s play area that overlooks the Jukskei River."
In addition to the engaging kid-friendly play area which includes a slide, swing, walkway, and push bike track, they also have a kids' menu and high chairs.

3. The Local Huddle
The Local Huddle is described as a place for sports enthusiasts, families, and food lovers.
Besides the excellent food, the space, and the staff, Aisha says that the kids' play area is amazing. There are slides, a trampoline, and fun activities that get the entire family moving.
