Happy New Year! We hope that 2025 is all that you want it to be.

As we reflect on 2024, one key lesson stands out: the importance of celebrating our wins – whether big or small.

Every moment of happiness or fulfilment deserves to be acknowledged. These milestones should be marked not just in our lives, but in our minds. In recent years, life has slowly started to feel more normal for many, though that new "normal" has its own challenges, testing some of us more than others.

Jay Shetty, the monk who turned author, podcaster, speaker, and coach, has shared many pearls of wisdom over the years, offering valuable insights into life.

This New Year, he shared a wonderful idea for celebrating your accomplishments, or "wins", throughout the year. As we step into 2025, he suggested a simple yet powerful practice to start the year on a high note.

All you need is an empty jar. Each week, write down something positive that has happened – it doesn't need to be a major win, just something that made you feel good or accomplished. This "win jar" or reflection jar is a great way to track all the good in your life, much like a gratitude jar, but with a focus on your personal achievements. It serves as a reminder of your progress and the positives that surround you.

Shetty said the aim is to sit with the jar on New Year's Eve 2025 and reflect on the year. However, some people shared that they don't always wait until the year's end. When they're having a tough day, they take the jar out and read the notes – it's a simple way to help them feel better.
