US man finds baby left in car alone while mother went to shop
Some parents really shouldn't be parents...
As much as we believe in independent parenting and that parents should have the freedom to practice their own styles of parenting, there are some things that should be a no-no amongst all parents.
And one of those things is leaving your kids inside a car alone!
A young baby was found lying in her car seat alone in the car, whilst her mother went inside a store to buy something.
And that wasn't the worst part.
The man who found the child went to find out what was going on and who left the baby alone.
When he asked around, he eventually found the mother, who was so nonchalant about her actions.
"Most of the children that have been left alone inside a car and have died due to a heatstroke were under 3 years old." (Seattle Children)

According to the Seattle Children's website, there are several dangers involved with leaving your child or children alone in the car.
"The temperature inside a car can increase 20 degrees in just 10 minutes and 40 degrees in an hour. It doesn’t have to feel hot outside to be dangerous inside a car.
"Leaving the windows open slightly does not prevent the temperature from rising to a dangerous level.
"A child’s body heats up three to five times faster than an adult’s body. Children have a lot of body surface area that absorbs heat. Children’s bodies have not yet developed the ability to cool down well."
