WATCH: Homeless man throws his dog a birthday party
We love how this turned out. You see, not all social media is bad...
It truly amazes us as to how some people have so little and yet can be so happy in their lives.
And yet others who have the basic amenities of life are always finding fault or complaining about one thing or the other.
One man who really brought us back to basics with his attitude of gratitude is Jose Luis Matos.
Earlier this year, Matos went viral for a video that was taken of him during his days living on the streets.
In the video, he was throwing one of his dogs a birthday party.
And the love and genuine selflessness he gave his pet family was received positively by many people around the world.
The scene was captured by a passerby who shared it on social media, resulting in the video going viral.

Since the video went viral, people from all over the world have come together to support Matos, which has led to him being able to leave his street life behind him.
When asked about the birthday party, he said he wanted to treat his dog, Shaggy, for his birthday with a chicken quarter, but didn't have the money.
By chance, he saw a woman who was about to throw away a cake and he asked her for it. She gladly gave it to him and he then got some candles and found a quiet place to sing 'Happy Birthday' to Shaggy.
Because of his love toward his pet family, they all have a place to stay.
