It brings up the question as to whether any form of camera is actually safe...
As much as the age of technology has made life easier in some ways and more convenient, it has also opened up a host of side effects.
Besides the health concerns, smart devices pose the biggest risk of all - cybercrime.
Where things like jewellery, money, and other valuables were once and still are targetable by criminals, your information and hacking your devices has become just as important if not more.
One mother proved that switching to smart devices to provide you with security for your child isn't always the safest option. A bit of an oxymoron, isn't it? A device that is meant to give you peace of mind may cause just the opposite.
But she only made this realisation after having a WiFi baby camera in her son's room and discovered that it was hacked.
And get this, the hacker was talking to her son without their knowledge.
WATCH what she had to say below on her TikTok page.

Besides the fact that they didn't know till they tried to change their password that they were hacked, knowing that your child had been exposed in such a manner is so scary.
It really makes you think about the level of security we all have with our smart devices.
