Kara and Nate, a married couple from Nashville, Tennessee, USA, shared a video of their experience staying at the world's most expensive underwater hotel room.

The review of their experience was quite in-depth and showed their tour of every part of the famous hotel, The Muraka, which is situated in the majestic waters of The Maldives.

"THE MURAKA, a first-of-its-kind, luxury two-level residence with a master bedroom submerged over 16 feet below sea level in the Indian Ocean, as part of the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island resort." (Conrad Maldives)

The couple who started off their travel vlogging journey after discovering 'travel hacking' became addicted after their honeymoon in 2013.

Kara and Nate gave a comprehensive tour of their underwater hotel room and it truly looked marvellous.

A shorter video of their experience was shared on social media and we found it gripping.

People on social media were happy to share their feelings surrounding the hotel room.

Surprisingly, instead of people saying they would be happy to try this out, many shared that they would suffer from severe anxiety staying in this underwater hotel.

According to Maldives Water Villas, a stay at the underwater hotel "can cost anywhere from 14,000 to 50,000 depending on the season in which you are trying to book the Maldives underwater villa If you are planning a getaway with your friends or family, the Maldives underwater hotel prices range from USD 14,100 to USD 55,000 per night on quad occupancy".

That's roughly between R260,000 to R1,000,000.
