Young boy unimpressed by HBD song at popular restaurant
This traditional birthday song at one of SA's popular restaurants is not for everyone...
We all know and love the traditions that come with having a birthday.
One of the main ones is getting cake and having everyone sing Happy Birthday to you.
But it's not for everyone. For one thing, not everyone enjoys being the centre of attention.
Spur, the popular South African restaurant chain, is well known for its birthday singing.
If it is your birthday and you visit a Spur restaurant, you can expect a group of waiters at your table singing a special Happy Birthday song for you.
One young boy was not impressed with the sparkler candle and singing, and was not afraid to show it. Of course, the reason this was so surprising to us is because most kids are excited by all the attention.
But it was his look of disinterest that gave it all away.
