Young girl reassures her dad that she can do things herself

A heartfelt moment that reminds us to always be grateful with what we have in life...
Sadly, we all need reminding when it comes to gratitude. It is something that is often overlooked.
We live in a world where it can be so easy to just resolve to complaining. We forget that someone out there is living their best life with less than what we have.
This video reminded us of that. That someone out there has less than what you have and is doing more with it.
In a video shared to a page on TikTok, we see a young girl seated at a restaurant table with her dad by her side.
Her dad insists on helping her open up a straw to put into her drink, but she pulls it away saying, "No, daddy, I got it."
Perhaps it is the fact that she doesn't have her hands anymore that makes him want to help her or it could just be a father wanting to help his little girl regardless.
But for us, it was the confidence she had and being in control of helping herself that was extremely admirable.

We get that it can be overwhelming to deal with life's consistent stresses, but sometimes you need to step back and focus on what you have, rather than what you don't have.
Adaptation is key in the world we live in. The quicker you learn to see the good in things, the better life becomes.
