Mzansi reacts to young girl taking her plate to restaurant kitchen

This is such a good trait to have at such a young age...
So often parents attest to how they blink and their littlies are all grown up.
It is a factor of life, you become so consumed with their day-to-day routines that you don't acknowledge how quickly they grow. Part of that growth has a lot to do with you as a parent and how you parent.
One mother shared a short video of her daughter at a Wimpy restaurant and we think she is reaping the rewards of her good parenting skills.
The mother, who goes by Mama Layla, shared a video of her young daughter taking her plate to the kitchen after she finished eating.
Of course, it is extremely unusual for this to happen. Most people who dine out leave their dirty dishes for the server/waiter to clean up. But you do get a few people who at the very least pack up their used crockery and leave it on the side for collection.
To see this behaviour from a young girl says a lot about her upbringing. This is something we all can appreciate and show gratitude towards.

We're not saying that this is behaviour we should always encourage because restaurants have their processes and procedures and can you imagine what havoc this might create if everyone were to do this?
But we can appreciate the kind manners of this young girl and her willingness to want to clean up after herself.
Many people came to the comments with their condemnation, but other TikTok users set them straight.
- "Tell me you have strict parents without telling me you have strict parents"
- "How do people see this and call it trauma or strict parenting, people really do hate order"
- "I clean my table everytime after eating at restaurants"
- "She's got good values, it's not embarrassing, its adorable"
- "I stil clean my table aftr eating in a restaurant en wen em witd my frnds dey will say I embarrasse dem"
- "You're raising her very well, s/o to you mama"
- "Such content is NEEDED so they can teach other children 💯💯💯not ceiling challenges"
