Harrowing moment woman falls from cliff during rescue
A woman slipped on the side of a cliff and fell several meters before she was rescued.
This woman is possibly the luckiest person on earth right now.
Rescuers received a distress call when a hiker fell off a cliff while hiking Rubio Canyon in California, USA. A 69-year-old woman was spotted clinging to shrubs on a cliffside as the ground beneath her crumbled.
The video of the rescue shows the woman dangling from the cliff as a helicopter hovered above. A rescuer was then lowered to the woman, but just as she manoeuvred into position, she lost her grip and fell again! In the nick of time, the rescuer grabs her and clings on until they're both lifted back to the trail.
