A young skier is lucky to be alive after having her upper body buried under snow.

A 19-year-old skier hit a hard patch while skiing at the French Alps' Les Arcs ski resort and fell into the snow, head-first.
While the skier was struggling to free herself from the snow, rescue came in the form of a 23-year-old skier who just happened to be skiing in the lesser-known slopes of the resort.
