This 94-year-old might know more about motorbikes than Barney does

Mary Johnston has had a love affair with motorbikes since she first toured Europe on one with her husband.
The Royal Hospital Chelsea has been home to the UK's veteran community for centuries. One of its residents, 94-year-old Mary Johnston, has had a passion for motorbikes since she first toured Europe with her husband over 30 years ago.

Mary never thought she would have the opportunity to ride again, until Rufus Hound approached her with an offer she couldn't refuse. She would be able to ride pillion on his motorbike.

Of the experience, Mary says: "‘As a pillion you sit back and enjoy, enjoy the ride, and it’s the most wonderful feeling in the world."
