Abandoned dog gets the employment opportunity of a lifetime

A dog who was found abandoned at a petrol station in Brazil has now become the station’s favourite door greeter , thanks to the kind owner.

The owner of the petrol station, Sabrina Plannerer, told The Dodo that she and her husband found the dog abandoned at the station. After giving him some veterinary care, they decided to have him join them at the station as an attendant.

One of Negão's duties is winning over customers with his charm, and it seems he is doing such a good job of it that he was even named 'Employee of the Month'.

“Negão waits for people to arrive, and then goes up to say hello, winning them over with his charms. Customers love him. Some people even bring him toys,” Plannerer told the publication.
