Barney loves this maid of honour's perfect prank

A maid of honour has a long list of duties to perform on the bride's big day: carrying her purse, fixing her hair, answering questions from the wedding party, and, above all, making sure the bride looks perfect in the official pictures.

Sharilyn Wester from Canada took this last duty very seriously, and even went a step ahead by photobombing the bride and groom in their official pictures. What better way to make sure the picture is good than by standing in the frame yourself?

But Sharilyn did more than just stand in the frame. When photographer Ashley Hempel asked Sharilyn to toss bride Rebecca Foster's veil for the shot, Sharilyn not only tossed the veil, but also twisted it around herself and proceeded to make funny faces while she posed for the camera. The results are priceless:

Rebecca, Sharilyn, and Ashley were all in on the joke, but Rebecca's new husband James certainly wasn't. The look of shock and discomfort on his face says it all.

Sharilyn may have gone beyond what other maids of honour would do, but wedding photos are there to preserve the memory of a special day. So why not make an effort to show as much of your true personality as possible in each shot?
