Bull escapes unharmed after being run over by a train
Updated | By High School Hits Classics with Barney Simon
A bull that had fallen asleep on train tracks in Bihar, India managed to escape before the locomotive could crush him.
A bull in the northern Indian state of Bihar had quite the lucky escape at a train station this week. The bull had presumably gone to lie on the train tracks to shade itself from the sun, and subsequently fell asleep there.
All was well until a train started up and moved towards the animal. If the bull had not woken up when it did, its story would have ended in tragedy.
As soon as the train starts the bull wakes up. In a matter of seconds, the bull sees a gap between the train carriages and leaps off the tracks.
The train's wheels had made contact with the bull's head but, miraculously, the animal was not injured.
