Couple gets engaged in world's first virtual reality proposal
Updated | By Lee-Roy Wright
This is one of the coolest proposals we have ever seen!
It's not every day that you get to say "yes" in a virtual world.
The internet is filled with many videos showing couples getting engaged. Many men and women think long and hard on how to make the proposal extra special and more so, unique.
Robin King had been thinking for a long time about how he was going to propose to his long-term girlfriend Kate, and thanks to the latest technology, he found the perfect way. The video, dubbed ‘Love Virtually’, was recorded in Sheffield, England, after Santander UK undertook a national search seeking someone ready to pop the question.
King stated that he had told Kate just enough of the truth to get her in the car and up to Sheffield. "I said we were off to test a VR experience for Santander in return for £250," he commented.
Even though at first this might seem lame, after watching the below video, no matter what you do, it is going to be special if it's the one you love.
