Crazy moment drunk man tries to 'shake hands' with a lion

We have seen many videos and read many stories of the crazy things people get up to while under the influence of alcohol, but never have we heard of a story like this.
While under the influence, a man was seen trying to 'shake hands' with a lion. Unbelievable, right?! Well, we have a video to prove it!
A 35-year-old man, after having a bit too much to drink, managed to climb into an enclosure at a zoo and can be seen standing in the water, reaching out to the lions. Of course the lions were intrigued, and immediately came running towards the man.
In the video you can see the man standing in the water, reaching out towards the 'King of the Jungle'. The lions seemed very interested and could pounce at any time, but they refrain and back away. Insane!
Zoo officials told Indian Express: “After preliminary inquiry it was found that Mukesh was in an inebriated state and had jumped inside the enclosure to go near the lion. He has been handed over to Bahadurpura Police."
