Cricket legend Ntini set for two-year Zimbabwe coaching job
Updated | By Tando Ntunja
Retired international fast bowler will be taking up a new position as Assistant Coach and Bowling Coach of the Zimbabwean national team over a two-year period, starting from the 16th of February.
Makhaya Ntini, a man of firsts as the first black cricketer to represent South Africa and the first South African cricketer to take 10 wickets at the hallowed Lords Cricket Ground in London, will be heading back into the world of international cricket.
Ntini has been appointed on a two-year bowling coach contract and will also be the Assistant Coach of the Zimbabwean national cricket team.
As only the third South African to get 300 wickets after fellow legends Allan Donald and Shaun Pollock, Ntini retired from international cricket in 2011.
Congratulations and everything of the best to Mac!
