Criminals steal brass water meter in seconds
The incident took place in the Emmarentia area of Johannesburg and the theft resulted in countless liters of water wastage.
CCTV footage has been released of two men walking down a road, with one of the men holding a pole. They stop at a driveway, seemingly knowing exactly where the water meter is.
Within a few seconds they use the large pole to loosen the water meter, and then water can be seen streaming out of the hole in the driveway.

After fishing around, they managed to grab the meter and the pair continued down the street as if nothing had happened.
Unfortunately, there is no further information about the incident.
