The difference between men and women

How do men and women deal with break-ups?
What’s that saying about men being from Mars and women being from Venus?
Men and women are very different creatures, not least when it comes to matters of the heart and how we deal with break-ups.
Despite the old movie clichés showing women suffering the most after a break up, it turns out that men suffer more from lovesickness at the end of a relationship than women do. Yes, gents, you can stop acting tough now. The secret’s out.
A survey by Elite Singles found that when it came to being lovesick, it's the guys who suffer the most. Of the 95 percent of those surveyed who admitted to being lovesick at some point in their lives, 25 percent more men suffer from lovesickness than women at a relationship's demise.
According to psychologist, Dr. Wiebke Neberich, the cause could be steeped in the fact that "women are more often the one to break off the relationship, and men have a propensity to overestimate a woman's interest, meaning that they also get brushed off and suffer from unrequited love more often."
Despite this new revelation, men and women still deal with break-ups in the very same ways. Casual sex, partying, drowning yourself in work, talking about it, and comfort eating are among some of the top ways we deal with heartbreak and lovesickness.
