Dog groomer's incredible skills save the day
Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
A Lithuanian dog groomer demonstrated incredible skill when one particular snappy customer landed on her grooming table.
As a professional dog groomer, Agne Kuiziniene sees dogs of all breeds, sizes and personalities every day. She is passionate about the work she does and takes the time to make each of her canine customers feel comfortable before continuing with the grooming.
Even as a successful business owner, Agne comes across difficult customers who challenge her. For example, this Shiba Inu who came to her grooming table in a highly agitated state. The dog was growling and snapping at Agne, but she did not panic. Instead, she found a way to make the dog feel comfortable enough for the grooming to take place.
The dog is scared and agitated and does not want Agne to touch it at all. Agne recognises this and starts speaking soothingly to the dog. Still hesitant, the dog becomes quieter.

This will not be an easy client for Agne, as the dog barks and snaps at her several times before finally sitting still enough to allow her to continue with the grooming.
Agne remained calm and assertive, and the dog responded well.
It is not every dog groomer who will have the patience and skill to deal with a dog as anxious and agitated as this. Agne is truly something special.
