Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
Veronica Leaning is terminally ill with cancer but says she is determined to make her funeral "a nice time".
Veronica Leaning of Grimsby, England is a Harry Potter fanatic. She discovered the series of wizarding world stories ten years ago and has been a big fan of JK Rowling since.
Speaking to Grimsby Live, Veronica said: "I just think that JK Rowling is amazing and she has put together one of the most fabulous stories that I have ever read."
Veronica is also a terminally ill cancer patient who has been given just a few months to live.
But Veronica is not counting the months in despair. Instead, she is making big plans for a spectacular funeral. Veronica wants to have a Harry Potter-themed funeral, complete with costumes and a coffin painted in Hogwarts house colours.
Veronica wants the people closest to her, including her 15 grandchildren, to enjoy the things that she loved most and remember how much happiness Harry Potter gave her.
Of her optimistic attitude about the macabre event, Veronica says: "I don't want my funeral to be a sad and boring occasion. I want people to have a nice time and enjoy some of the things that I loved in life and I can think of nothing better than everyone coming in dressed as wizards and witches."
