Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
A father and son were left stranded in mid-air for over 25 minutes over a dam filled with alligators at Gatorland in Florida.
A father and son out on an adventure in Gatorland, Florida had an unplanned thrill added to their trip when they were left dangling over alligator-filled water for 25 minutes.
Reports state that it was a gust of wind that disturbed the pair's ride on the zipline.
Staff at Gatorland are trained to act in the best interest of the patrons of the park when something does go wrong.
The father and son clung to each other for nearly half an hour as they hung 40 feet (12 metres) in the air above the dangerous reptiles.
According to the manager of Gatorland, Nick Cahippina, thrill-seekers often get stuck on the ride. In those cases, it takes an average of 15 minutes for people to be brought down from the ride.
