Golden Retriever expertly prevents a serious cat fight
Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
A golden retriever was caught playing mediator between his feline friend and some neighbourhood troublemakers.
Sometimes the difference between getting into a fight at the bar and making it home safely is one good friend. And, as usual, a pertinent lesson in good friendship is coming to us from the animal kingdom.
Specifically from the unlikely bond between a Golden Retriever and a cat.

A video posted by Twitter user Gam.ly shows a cat advancing on a group of cats standing to one side of the road, clearly ready to escalate the confrontation. Then, quietly and quickly, a dog comes up behind the first cat and carries it away by the scruff of its neck.
It was as if the dog was saying, "it's not worth it, man". The dog has been called a "Golden Intervener" and its actions have been lauded as noble and honorable.
Imagine the peace in our communities we would have if people took the same action against potential violence.

You can practically hear him say, "come on now, it's not worth it. We've all had a drink."
