Here's how to take the tears out of vaccination day

A nurse in St Petersburg, Florida found a genius way to distract young children from the discomfort of getting injections.
Injections are not pleasant, and most of us would do almost anything to avoid them. For children, this discomfort around needles is even worse.
But in many cases, getting an injection is the easiest way to stay healthy.
When it was time for young Dimitri to get his vaccinations, his grandmother Tiffany Marshall promised him $5 if he made it through the visit to the doctor without crying.

Luckily for Dimitri, there was an incredible nurse who found a great way to distract the little boy from the discomfort of the injections. Watch how the nurse eases Dimitri into the process using a "magic trick" and a few hugs below:
It seems Dimitri was even enjoying himself towards the end, as he says to the nurse and his grandmother: "I didn't cry!" He also makes plans for what to buy with his well-earned $5.
