Hippo attacks and bites car just outside the Kruger
This is one of the scariest animal attack videos we've seen all year
While crossing a bridge near the border of the Kruger National Park, 26 year old, Wikus Ceronie was not expecting to see a hippo. He immediately took out his cellphone and filmed this rare site but what happened next was something that surprised him.
Having passed a number of people close to the hippo he thought the animal was used humans but it suddenly turned, started charging and hit the bakkie head on while biting into it.

Wikus told LatestSightings.com "This was terrifying for me because I realized I had nowhere to go and no time to do it in. Beside me was a 50m drop so had he hit me on the side I have no doubt the car would have rolled down the embankment. Even though there was damage done to the bonnet of my vehicle and the door couldn’t open, I’m grateful there were no serious injuries at the end of day."
