Homeless man helps stranded woman find shelter

A homeless man has been praised on social media after he helped a stranded woman find shelter after she missed her train home. Not only did he ensure her safety, but he made sure she caught the next train home.
A homeless man in London has been hailed as a "legend" after he prevented a stranded woman from spending the night on the streets.
Nicole Sedgebeer, 21, took to Facebook to share her story of how, after missing her train home at night, a homeless man named Mark helped her.
After missing a train from Euston in London to her home in Milton Keynes, Sedgebeer was freaked out until she got help from Mark.
She wrote that Mark took her to a 24-hour coffee shop, got her coffee, and after ensuring that she was safe, left and told her he would come back the next morning to take her to the train station to catch the first train.
Not only did Mark keep his promise, but he allegedly paid £1.50 for a bus trip out of his way to help Sedgebeer, The Sun reported.
“This man who I probably would have avoided eye contact with if he asked for spare change, completely changed such a negative event into the most eye opening event in my life,” she wrote on Facebook.
“When I asked him why he did it he said it was a father’s duty to get another man’s daughter home safe,” she said.
Sedgebeer said she hoped her story “makes people look twice when they see a homeless person".
