How to tell if your dog is overprotective

It's always comforting to know that your dogs would do anything to protect you - even if they are sometimes a little bit too enthusiastic about keeping you safe.
A lot of the time, humans trust (and train) their dogs to keep them safe. It is comforting to know that you have your own personalised alert system in the house.

For the Vietnamese owners of this husky, there is an added bonus: their dog will protect them from each other.
The family posted a video showing one owner pretending to raise a hand to the other. Seeing this, the dog immediately reacts. The caption of the video is "say no to any domestic violence":
Even though the dog knows both of the people as its owners, it does not hesitate to protect the woman from a perceived threat. There is clearly a zero tolerance policy when it comes to violence in this home.
