Indonesian popstar dies following cobra bite on stage
Updated | By Poelano Malema
Snakes are dangerous, and many humans stay as far away from them as possible, but some artists, however, use them to enhance their performances.
One such artist was Indonesian popstar, Irma Bule.
Bule (29) was famous for using snakes as props for her live performances.
However, during her last performance at Karrawang, Indonesia, on Sunday, she stood on a cobra's tail, resulting in it biting her on the thigh.
Bule managed to continue performing for 45 minutes after the bite, before finding herself vomiting, collapsing, and having seizures on stage, audience member Ferlando Octavion Auzura told reporters.
She was taken to hospital where she later died.
Her video of the snake performance has been trending on YouTube.
