Sister Mary Jo Sobieck wowed with her incredible arm at a White Sox game.

It is not often that you see a woman walking onto the pitch at a big baseball game, not least to throw the opening pitch of a Major League Baseball match.
So the crowd at a White Sox versus Kansas City Royals game was in for quite a surprise when Sister Mary Jo Sobieck stepped up to the plate.

Sister Mary Jo was invited to throw the first pitch and she surprised everyone with her skill and style. In a moment that would not have seemed out of place in both Angels in the Outfield and A League of Their Own, Sister Mary Jo bounced the ball on her forearm before taking one look at her team-mate and throwing the ball right into his catching mitt.
White Sox manager Rick Rentria said he was amazed by Sister Mary Jo's delivery: "She stepped back at about 45 feet and threw a bullet."
He joked that Sister Mary Jo should come and play for his team. She casually said, "Sure".
