Pit bull viciously attacks and kills smaller dog outside Toronto apartment
Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
A woman in Toronto lost one of her three small dogs to a vicious attack by a pit bull. Warning: this story features graphic images.
A woman in Toronto who was taking her three small dogs for a walk could not have guessed that the outing would end in tragedy.
CCTV footage shows the woman leading her dogs out of the door of her apartment. Before they can make it out, they bump into a pit bull and its owner. Immediately and apparently without prior provocation, the pit bull throws itself onto one of the dogs.
The woman tries to free her dog from the pit bull's grip, but her efforts are in vain. In a matter of seconds, the pit bull has thrown the dog around violently and killed it. The pit bull will not let the small dog go before its owner kicks it several times to loosen its grip.
Footage shows the woman and the owner of the pit bull exchanging words as she stands over the lifeless body of her dog. The pit bull, now less restless than before, stands close to its owner.
Some of the building's tenants appear in the reception area, and one woman approaches the two dog owners. It is not clear what she says to them.
The owner of the small dog picks it up and walks away.
There have been no reports of penalties or arrests.
