Save someone’s life with your moustache
Updated | By Poelano Malema
It’s that time of the year where men all over the globe join the Movember movement to raise awareness for the health of men.
“Men are facing a health crisis that isn’t being talked about. They are dying too young, before their time. We’re taking action and we need your help. This Movember, grow your moustache for men’s health,” za.movember.com wrote on its website.

However, like any other thing in life, the challenge comes with rules. The rules, courtesy of Metro and movember.co.za, are as follows:
- You must be clean shaven to start the challenge.
- Select and recreate a famous and iconic Mo.
- Sacrifice a beard to make way for your Mo, but embrace growing a big hairy slug on your top lip.
- You can groom your jaw and neck but you are not allowed to shave.
- Last, but not least, you must have the moustache maintained for the whole of November.
