“I am so happy and blessed to be a part of it,” King told Buzzfeed. “I’m so happy to help the Deaf community get more exposure. I can’t wait to see more companies utilizing this technology to provide better customer service. It’s so cool.”
The Starbucks in the store is located near a school for the deaf and blind, and the video technology at the drive-thru was implemented with the school in mind. Many people were amazed and commended Starbucks for their use of the technology.
