Watch how one Englishman chose to deal with a flock of sheep invading his garden
Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
A man in West Yorkshire found himself at his wits' end with a flock of sheep that just would not stay out of his garden.
When you have spent hours tending your garden, the last thing you want is the neighbour's naughty animals coming into your yard to mess it up.
For Luke Mensah of West Yorkshire, England, it is the flock of sheep from the plot directly adjacent to his that are the cause of much exasperation. No matter what he does to try and keep them out, they always come back.
Luke has tried to fix the gate, but he finds shouting at the sheep is more effective in getting them to scurry away. He tells the Daily Mail: "One time I just shouted 'get out me garden!' at them, to see what they would do, and they moved off. It just became something that I would say to them to move them. I had only ever done it shouting so it just stuck."
The footage, recorded over a year, shows the sheep nibbling away at Luke's plants before he shouts at them and they run away.
The sheep do not necessarily have an owner, as the property they stay on is rented out to various people throughout the year.
Could this lack of leadership be the reason behind their bad behaviour?
