Opportunism turned into an embarrassing show for an unidentified gunman on the N2 in the Western Cape.
On what was seemingly an ordinary day somewhere in the City of Cape Town, was an uncalculating young gunman who got shot at by a traffic cop who had initially stopped a driver over to issue a fine.
The unidentified man was walking past when traffic officer Nizaam Alexander was issuing the fine and saw an opportunity to do something. What the opportunity was is unclear, because he seemed hesitant to go all the way when his initial intentions were met with the shooting prowess of an experienced cop.
