Woman unimpressed as boyfriend resorts to violence in her defence
Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
A man in North Carolina did not receive the reward he expected for punching someone who looked at his girlfriend the wrong way.
A couple in Lincolnton, North Carolina visited SEA Wireless, a cellphone shop, and ended up in the middle of a fight. As the two were speaking to a shop assistant, a fourth person walked in and caused some trouble.
The man, dressed in a cap and a red shirt, reportedly looked at the first man's girlfriend's behind, smiled to himself, and said "yeah". This raised the ire of the woman's boyfriend, who proceeded to punch the offender.
CCTV footage shows the first man attacking the would-be harasser, chasing him out of the store. The man's girlfriend speaks to the shop assistant, urging him not to call the police, before turning to her partner and asking him "what's wrong with you?"
The woman demands that her partner apologise to the man who was staring at her, and he obliges.
The woman apparently prefers that her partner takes the role of the bigger man instead of retaliating in the face of obviously inappropriate behaviour.
What would you do if someone was harassing your partner in public?
