SPAR Carols by Candlelight with Jacaranda FM's Johannesburg event is still going ahead

SPAR Carols by Candlelight with Jacaranda FM is still taking place at St Stithians College despite the current weather conditions.

The event, which is a highlight of Gauteng’s festive calendar - featuring a stellar cast of SA’s top artists - is taking place in Johannesburg on the 7th of December 2019 at St. Stithians College and Pretoria on the 10th of December 2019 at Loftus Versfeld.

Swing City, Rubber Duc, Lira, Roan Ash, Tarryn Lamb, Matthew Mole, Paxton, and the Soweto Gospel Choir will bring in the festive cheer to St.Stithians. 

Here is everything you need to know about both events:

• These are no smoking venues
  
• Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the venues
  
• No glass or bottles, or bottle openers are allowed
  
• No gas braais are allowed in the venues
  
• Cars parked illegally will be towed and impounded
  
• Medics will be available
  
• No open flame candles are allowed, battery operated candles will be on sale at the event – all proceeds go to the Good Morning Angels fund
  
• There will be public portable toilets
  
• Camping chairs are allowed
  
• Food and drinks will be available from the Higher Ground restaurant and vendors on the field
  
• Please sit in the demarcated areas
  
• Attendees must take all rubbish with them at the end of the evening or throw it in the bins provided

Entry is free, but, in spreading the love to where it is needed most, attendees are encouraged to bring a toy which will be delivered to selected charity organisations.

Gates at both events will open at 16h00 and the events will run from 19h00 to 21h00.
