New food experiment turns potatoes into cheese
Updated | By Poelano Malema

Thanks to innovative people like Andrew Dyhin, a food scientist, this is now possible. "What we have done to make this super food is we have taken potatoes, peeled them and we have processed them," Dyhin says in a YouTube video.
"There's nothing added in this product, it is a 100% pure potato. It looks like cheese; it melts like cheese. The colour, it's the natural colour of a raw potato, so there is no even added colour in this product. Now it doesn't smell like cheese, but if we add a 0.5% essence of cheese, we have a product that looks like cheese, melts like cheese and smells like cheese, and it tastes wonderful," he added.
