Telesure Investment Holdings CEO Tom Creamer on canvassing commmunities for social upliftment

Tom Creamer, CEO of Telesure Investment Holdings is very connected to the aim of The Sun International CEO SleepOut™: “We want to take responsibility for our immediate communities in which we operate. We have a wide array of initiatives that we’re involved in and we also support where we can our local police.”
Tom's thoughts on education are linked to the development of South African youth: “We are our country’s future - our destination resides in the hands of the youth. If we educate, if we encourage, if we develop youth in the correct manner, we will have a wonderful country to live in, for future generations.”
Tom joined Telesure Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd (TIH) in 1988. He is recognised as an innovator who helped revolutionise and disrupt the South African insurance landscape by conceptualising, launching and building several of South Africa’s leading insurance brands.
Tom was appointed as Telesure’s Short-Term Insurance CEO in 2014 and CEO of TIH, responsible for the group’s financial and insurance interests, in 2016.
He is an adrenaline junkie and over the years has climbed Kilimanjaro, taken part in the Great Wall of China Half Marathon, numerous canoeing expeditions in Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe, the Sani 2 C race, show jumping competitions and recently, The Desert Knights Mountain Bike adventure in Namibia. Tom’s greatest achievement in life is his children, Kyle (26) and Roxy (23).
