World’s highest and longest glass bridge finally opens
Updated | By Poelano Malema
The much-anticipated world’s highest and longest glass bridge has just been opened. The Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge opened over the weekend in China, and masses are reportedly flocking to it.
According to CNN, visitors have even had to wait in long queues in order to climb on the bridge, as it can only handle 800 people at a time. “The Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge was designed to be invisible as possible — a white bridge disappearing into the clouds,” Architect Haim Dotam was quoted as saying by Businessinsider.
Below is the video of the bridge.
